That’s the alchemy.
We do the practices & meditations together in group. That’s like cutting down the path to the inner temple.
Then you practice them on your own regularly. That’s getting used to walking the path.
Then you practice accessing them when you’re out and about – dropping in for a moment, while you’re doing other things. That’s like dissolving the path entirely. Going from wherever you are to your inner temple in an instant.
THE 3 EXERCIZES
TO DO BEFORE NEXT SESSION
1) MINI MORNING MEDITATION & AUTOMATIC WRITING IN THE MORNING
– building connection with Higher Self for Guidance
– Do the mini meditation to align, centre, turn to Higher Self.
– Ask for what you want clarity on OR Ask simply “What’s for me now” OR “What am I for”
– Pick up the pen and paper you have ready and just write. Let the words flow
notes – let the words be nonsense. Free them from having any meaning.
This is an exercise to ‘build muscle’ -to consciously invoke Higher Self and highest guidance
Let the answers come – not in the moment -but throughout your day, week and in appropriate timing
The answers may come internally – as inspiration, resonant thoughts & realisations, intuition, impulses, desires, preferences
The answers may come externally – in conversation, something you see, information that comes to you (through media / social media)
2) DISCERNMENT – YOU ALREADY HAVE THIS. Write down how you recognize your guidance
– making the logical mind our friend in this
In a day we take in immeasurable information. How do you tell when you’re getting guidance or just having a thought?
Just because you read a post, doesn’t mean it has the answers.
Take the time to notice what happens when you are aware that you’re receiving guidance
When something resonates as truth for you
When you’re aware your realisation or thought or impulse or intuition is coming from a ‘higher place’
When something you see in your day – or something someone says, or a post you read isn’t just part of the usual noise.
WRITE IT DOWN – What do you physically feel, what images or sounds come to you, what emotions, what awareness.
BE SPECIFIC. and REPEAT THE PRACTICE a few times at least. I would say continually for a while.
We do this because the logical, skeptical mind needs it.
Otherwise that part of us fights us when we try to trust our intuition.
This way, we help our mind be the listening mind – listening to our higher guidance and supporting us to trust it.
3) EXCITEMENT – getting clear about what we’re calling in and why
Write down an exciting experience when you got guidance – or connected with your guides.
Write down what excites you the most about connecting to guidance – make a list and add to it as inspiration comes
Keeping that connection alive, to our multidimensionality – to the more of who we are – is founded in what excites us.
Excitement is an element of Joy and Joy is the key to our inner compass.
Trusting our guidance is as much about trusting our Joy
And giving ourselves permission to be excited about being excited.
So what makes you excited about this. Think of past examples. Think about what you want more of.
It will help you get really clear about what you’re calling in. AND WHY.
What if ‘because this excites me’ gets to be part of your WHY.
